Developing the show 'The Memory Keeper' for the RSPB

PuppetSoup were very happy to be asked to create a piece of theatre for the 20th anniversary of the RSPB nature reserve in Conwy, North Wales.

PuppetSoup created a piece of visual theatre inspired by the nature reserve’s history, whilst writer Joanne Rae created a piece of writing also inspired by the story of the nature reserve. The two pieces complimented each other to create an artistic body of work that resulted in a visual show by PuppetSoup and a book by Joanne Rae.

‘The Memory Keeper’ is a strong piece of visual theatre about the environment that is suitable for a variety of audiences as it has no words. The piece was performed at the 20th anniversary of the RSPB’s site and has also performed as piece of touring theatre.
